BC Journal of Ecosystems and Management Volume 8, Number 2

Full PDF issue of JEM at www.forrex.org/publications/jem/ISS41/JEM_Vol8_no2_full.pdf

FORREX Series 20 - Problem Analysis: Effects of Invasive Species on Species at Risk in British Columbia
Joan Voller and R. Scott McNay
This report reviews available information on invasive species (native and alien) in British Columbia and assesses their potential interactions with forest- and range-dependent Species at Risk to evaluate the relative importance of the interactions. It finds that the sheer number of interactions indicates overwhelmingly that a more intensive investigation of invasive species' effect on Species at Risk is worthy of priority research. See www.forrex.org/publications/forrexseries/fs20.pdf

Chapter 14 - Detecting and Predicting Changes in Watersheds
R.G. Pike, T. Redding, D. Wilford, R.D. Moore, G. Ice, M. Reiter, and D.A.A. Toews
This chapter of the Compendium of Forest Hydrology and Geomorphology in British Columbia provides a basic overview of four overlapping approaches for detecting and predicting changes in forested watersheds, while also providing background for the reader and references to further information.
