2009-12-03 Skeena Salmon Habitat Workshop
On Dec. 3, 2009, the Bulkley Valley Research Centre hosted the Skeena Salmon Habitat Workshop. The workshop followed on progress made at September’s Skeena Salmon Habitat Conference, which attracted over 100 speakers and delegates from a diverse set of stakeholders. The workshop, which was held at the Driftwood Lodge near Smithers, brought together 20 people representing government, First Nations, NGOs and the research field. It resulted in the formation of a working group to move ahead on issues raised during the conference.
