The goal of this project is to evaluate Tweedsmuir-Entiako caribou habitat, how it is being modified by the current MPB outbreak and what strategies will enhance the resilience of the population to change. The project’s objectives are to review current knowledge on caribou ecology and their response to disturbance, to conduct scenario analysis of potential future landscape changes and caribou population responses, and to identify strategies that will enhance the caribou population’s resilience.
